Cirque de Chine is preparing for its first annual Adopted Chinese Children Association’s reunion. The reunion event will be held July 11, 2009, at the Smoky Mountain Palace in Sevierville, TN. The original Adopted Chinese Children Association (ACCA), and its annual reunions, was conceived by the its sister show, Acrobats of China in the New Shanghai Theater, in Branson, MO in 2007. That event has attracted over 600 attendees, including more than 200 adoption families, during each of the past two years. Based on that success and the interest shown locally, the Smoky Mountain ACCA branch has been sanctioned and is now in operation. This is our way of saying a special “Thank You” for those families who have adopted Chinese children and are giving them the love they deserve. This experience will allow the Chinese children, and their families, to come into contact with true Chinese culture by witnessing the amazing acrobats of Cirque de Chine. The total Reunion Package Event will introduce the Chinese children to, and allow them to play, traditional Chinese games. They will be able to make their own Chinese featured souvenirs and all adopted Chinese children will receive an exquisite gift package. The entire family will be able to enjoy the breathtaking and magnificent acrobatic show of Cirque de Chine. In addition, an authentic Chinese lunch buffet will be served for those who want to experience true Chinese cuisine for only $10 per adult with children under the age of 18 treated free. Admission for the entire reunion package is as follows: adults, $24; siblings 13 to 17, $13.50; 7 to 12 years old, $6.50 and children 5 and under are free. Chinese children 18 years old and under will enjoy free admission. All adoption families and relatives are eligible to attend.
