Among the acts in this outstanding presentation are The Yo-Yo troupe which was voted favorite acrobatic act in a nation-wide poll of the Chinese people. The Chinese yo-yo, nothing like the American variety, has been around since the 12th century, and this troupe has perfected the art and are triple gold medal winners.
The Motorcycles are in Guinness Book of World Records. If you can imagine several performers riding high speed motorcycles while enclosed in a huge transparent ball then it’s understandable why they are in the Guinness Book.
Every act in this unbelievable, surreal presentation of Chinese culture art has won a gold medal in international competition, and several are multi-gold medal winners.
The Crown Jewel of the 2007 season is returning; the Thunder Drums are back! Without a doubt, these eleven young ladies deserve a standing ovation every time they perform. They are known internationally and were featured in the recent Jet Li movie, “Fearless.” The Thunder Drums alone are worth the price of admission.
Congratulations to Mr. Zhao for bringing in the best theatrical production China has to offer, and a show the whole family can enjoy. If you can only see one show, this is the one. |
